The Financial Planning Process

What To Expect

Over the course of several weeks, Atlas Capital Management will be working very closely with you and your family through the financial planning process ensuring we deliver a custom-tailored plan to meet and deliver on your goals and life plans.

Financial Planning is not a set it and forget it process. It is a living, breathing process. Things change. So, when they do, please be sure to let us know so that we can determine their impact to the plan and make necessary changes.

We have defined the steps and laid out for you what you can expect.

Step 1 - Discovery

Schedule an initial conversation to establish and define our relationship and to set expectations from your perspective and ours.

Step 2 - Data Gathering

Begin to fully understand what your goals and objectives are, from both a short- and long-term perspective. Analyze and evaluate your current financial picture, determining strengths and weaknesses in order to focus on areas of improvement to meet your goals.

Step 3 – Financial Plan Proposal

Develop and present a comprehensive financial plan, providing recommendations and/or alternative suggestions.

Step 4 - Implement & Monitor

Implement the plan after fully discussing and presenting the options to you. Monitor all aspects of the financial plan and periodically review the plan. Because financial planning isn’t a set it and forget it strategy.
